When we think about return on investment we usually think about business. If I invest that money in that part of my business what will the return on that investment be.
Do you think of it in the same way when you pay for a gym membership? Do you think of it that way when you invest in a coach?
Whenever I make an investment, whether it is for my business or for me personally, I like to consider the return on my investment.
If I'm purchasing an item or physical product that can be measured in the joy it will bring or the memories that I will make with it.
If I'm purchasing gym membership or PT sessions I'll think about what return I want from that investment. What will it mean for me and my life to invest in myself in that way.
I also consider what else I'm gaining, and usually I'm paying for the short cut .... I'm paying for the knowledge that somebody else has already got. If I have a PT they will talk o me about my personal circumstances and come up with a plan that is bespoke to me. They will have trained and gained knowledge in something that I have 1. no interest in training in, or 2. no intention of putting the time to that it needs to learn that skill.
I am investing in getting to my desired results quicker than if I go it alone. I'm looking for accountability and somebody that quickly identify my strengths and weaknesses and know how to make that work for me.
This is exactly what you get when you invest in working with a coach. I once heard somebody say that you should think about coaching as a gym membership for your mind, body and soul.
A Professional Coach, that has been trained to a high standard, will enable you to get the results you're looking for much quicker than if you go it alone. By keeping you 100% the focus of each session we can be sure that you are the one that decides what you want to do next and how you're going to do it.
In the same way a gym membership isn't only for people who are unfit and unhealthy, a coach isn't just for people that feel broken (which nobody is by the way). A coach is a great investment for somebody that is succeeding in their life goals but may want more clarity, somebody that has done really well until now but are ready for a change of direction, somebody that want's to take a step back and explore all of their options, somebody who has a big decision to make.
If you take a moment to imagine yourself living your very best life .... just picture it .... see it .... feel it. You couldn't really put a value on that could you? It's priceless.
So when you consider the investment in a coach it's a pretty good return on investment.
One thing you need to be sure is that I'm not here to fix things for you and simply provide you with all of the answers..... because I do not know what is best for you. I do however know how to listen, how to notice the things that you don't say as well as the things that you do, and I'm ready to ask the powerful questions.
You need to be ready to take responsibility for yourself and your actions. If you are ready to go all in and invest in yourself then that dream life that you just pictured is much, much closer than you think it is.
