A calm, supportive space for teenagers to breathe, reset and feel more like themselves again.

Today’s teenagers are growing up in a fast-paced, constantly changing world.

There is pressure from many directions — exams, academic expectations, friendships, social media, and the quiet weight of figuring out who they are and who they want to become.

Their nervous systems are rarely given the opportunity to truly switch off.

Many teenagers live in a state of ongoing stress and overwhelm, which can show up as:

• Anxiety or constant worry
• Exam stress and fear of failure
• Difficulty sleeping or switching off
• Low confidence or self-doubt
• Feeling emotionally overwhelmed
• Withdrawal or feeling unlike themselves

Beneath it all, most teenagers simply need a safe space where they can exhale, feel supported, and gently reconnect with their inner calm and confidence.

What happens in a session?

Each 60-minute session is structured but gentle, and tailored to your teenager’s needs.

1. Supportive Coaching (15 to 20 minutes)

We begin with relaxed conversation in a safe, non-judgemental space.

This allows your teenager to:

• Talk through what feels overwhelming
• Gain perspective on exam or social pressures
• Learn simple tools for emotional regulation
• Build confidence and self-awareness

They are never pushed to share more than they feel comfortable with.

2. Deep Relaxation & Nervous System Reset (30–35 minutes)

The second part of the session focuses on calming the body and mind.

This may include a blend of:

Reiki – gentle, fully clothed energy work to encourage deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.

Guided Relaxation / Hypnotherapy-based techniques – helping quieten racing thoughts, reduce anxiety, and build calm confidence at a subconscious level.

Breathing techniques – simple, practical tools they can use during exams or stressful situations.

Sound healing – soft, soothing sound vibrations to help the body move into a restorative state.

Most teenagers describe this part as “the first time I’ve properly switched off in ages.”

3. Bring the session to a close with some guidance on breathwork or other tools that I think will support them beyond the session

After a session, teenagers often feel:

• Feel calmer and less overwhelmed
• Manage exam stress and academic pressure
• Improve confidence and self-belief
• Sleep more easily
• Regulate emotions more effectively
• Feel more grounded and resilient

Most importantly, they begin to realise that they have the inner resources to navigate life’s challenges.


A safe and welcoming space

Sessions take place in my peaceful therapy space in Northamptonshire, offering a calm environment away from the pressures of school and daily life.

Teenagers are supported gently, respectfully, and always at their own pace.

Parental consent is required for clients under 18, and parents are welcome to discuss any concerns beforehand.
